family dinners

On Sunday I was invited to a family dinner at Sara and John's house. Sara cooked a delicious turkey dinner. The kids were amazing as always and friends Rueben and Ken added to the mix of assorted nuts. Now talking about nuts. There is the issue of the wicked witch from the west. aka "Mon". She is a unique individual. Oh who are we kidding......she is a bitch. She is always saying things that are so uncalled for. She talks to much, too loud and says nothing that has anything to do with anything. She thinks she is best at everything. Calming the babies.......helping out...which she doesn't do unti I decide to do something and oh yeah she knows exactly how I feel about my knee. She doesn't have a freaking clue about anything. She is as phony as a 3 dollar bill.
On a sadder note Willie and Harold had to fly home for a week. Helen has had a stroke and is in the hospital and it doesn't look good. I lent them my car so currently Jess and I are vehicless except for when I borrow John's van. But on the positive side since we can't go out we can't shop and therefore should save money. (I like to live in a fantasy land!!!!)
