things that make you go hmmmmmmmm

Yesterday I saw my therapist. She was surprise at how upset I was. All I could do was bitch about my daughter. Especially after I told her how great both my kids were on my first session. Anyway she told me I have to set limits and stick to them no matter what. So that is what I'm going to do and hopefully the consequences won't be so bad. I'll just keep my fingers crossed.
Jess and I fixed the toilet today. It works, it really works.......I'm sooooooo excited. It leaks a little but I think once the rubber expands it should be fine.
Tomorrow is weight watchers. I really hope I'm down. Keeping my fingers crossed. We have the kids for the weekend cuz John is working and Sara is going to Peterborough to help Danny and Peter move. So on Saturday we will be going to Willie's house for a bbq.

Home sweet home

We went camping this week with John, Sara and the kids. We had a good time. Corbin seemed to have an awesome time. He really loves the great outdoors. We had rain 2 nights and had a mini flood both times. On the second night poor Corbin got rained out too!!!. We all forgot to close the ceiling vent and the poor little guy was sleeping under it!!!. I also found out that a person who has a bad knee can't go camping. Just isn't a good time.
Before we went away I had a doctor's appointment and got the results of the tests on my back. Basically my back is screwed almost as much as my knee!! I have a narrowing of my spinal column and I am going to have a MRI for further testing. Oh well, I don't really want to ever go back to work anyway!!!!
Today we went to Willie and Harold's church picnic. We had a good time and so did Corbin. He is such a fun little guy. Tomorrow is a nothing day. Going to sleep in and do nothing allllllll day.

Life is what you make it

Its Sunday and that means NASCAR. It also means except for going to the drugstore and the bank and taking back Sara's keys I get to stay home today.
I was going to say how much my stomach hurts but I was told that my aches and pains are not a contest. So I will say that today isn't a gootd day and leave it at that.
Yesterday Jess worked at Willie and Harold's and helped trim the hedges. She did a good job and that is according to Harold who doesn't give out compliments very often. We had dinner with them. Willie made ribs and salad and it was great. She is a good cook. Willie joined Weight Watchers as well and is doing very well. She has lost 8 lbs already. I on the other hand have lost 6lbs in 5 months. I don't know why I'm not doing that well. Jess has lost 10lbs. She is doing really well too.
Next weekend is Corbin's birthday party. I hope it warms up for it and doesn't rain. Then on Monday the 19th we are suppose to go camping with Sara and John and the kids. Since they can't go away next month as a family because John has to work so much I was thinking of suggesting that they go alone next week. I will give that a little more thought before I bring up that subject.

I got it

I got a call this morning from work. I got the LTD!!!! I couldn't believe it. Then I got a call this afternoon from GWL confirming it. I will be getting some retro as well. According to my sister she is going to help me budget cuz I'm not capable of doing it myself. I've decided that I'm going to put some of it into the TD bank for savings and I'm going to make sure my bills are caught up and I would like to take the family out for lunch or an early dinner. And now I can buy groceries for the camping trip. I also hope to get Jess a tent so she has her own space on this trip. Anyway things will only get better from here on out!!!!!!

Raceday

Its Sunday. Time for Nascar. I'm not having a good day today. Actually I haven't had a good week. I haven't felt well at all. And I need to keep my mouth shut and not say anything to anyone. I need to tell people I feel fine. Maybe if I say it I'll believe it. I'm not sleeping very well so I'm tired. I don't have any money and I'm trying to figure out how to pay bills etc. Its not very much fun. I'm keeping my fingers crossed an praying that I'll hear something positive this week from GWL about LTD. That I got it and I'll see some money soon!!!!!!! We are suppose to be going camping in a couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to that. I'm gonna try to keep this updated more often.

Its June

Can you believe half the year is gone already. Time flies even when you're not having fun!!!! No updates on the LTD. Hopefully this week coming will have some good news for a change. If not I'm prepared to see a lawyer and fight it!!!
The kids are awesome. Corbin will be 2 on the 22nd of this month. It seems like only yesterday he was a little baby. Aeva-Grace is growing like a weed. She sits up with assistance and can roll over and her Mom says she can go circles in her crib. We are going camping this month too. I'm looking forward to it. Anyway this month I will try to post often.
